Grey-throated Babbler (Stachyris nigriceps) at Sribhumi, Assam, India

The grey-throated babbler (Stachyris nigriceps), a species of passerine bird in the Old World babbler family Timaliidae, is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is found in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
